On 1500 square metres of exhibition space, ATHD staged the Ice Age Safari from original finds, high-quality animal reconstructions, taxidermy, replicas and impressive skeletons. Visitors accompany their ancestors through an ice age year.
The Jury‘s Statement
The exhibition takes visitors on an exciting journey back to the Ice Age. Here, not only true-to-scale and lifelike animal exhibits and dioramas await visitors at various stations, but also numerous fossils. The design framework is formed by sculptural spatial elements whose polygonal formal language interprets the theme of ice in a comprehensible way. A very well designed exhibition in terms of form, technology and content with a high learning and experience value.
