Inside the listed Rammenau Baroque Castle, 300 years of history come alive. 14 delicate proscenium stages unfold like tiny theatres, brought to life by cut-out figures in the style of copperplate engravings. They combine original objects, dioramas and digital layers into evocative scenes. Their graphic design echoes the ornaments of the Baroque halls, while the freestanding installations blend sensitively into the historic architecture. In the manor farm interactive stations invite visitors to explore and experiment. The result is a vibrant exhibition that brings the everyday lives of nobility and servants to life from different perspectives.
