Details

Lamitak unveiled the “Found on Elemental Core” exhibition, a six-hour launch event reinterpreting surface laminates inspired by stone, wood, mountains, and everyday lifestyles. The structure abstracted mountain forms into a bold graphic language, suspending laminate sheets in layered compositions to narrate stories rooted in nature. Reused LED lighting and a rented modular frame minimised waste, while all materials were designed for reuse, with laminates later repurposed as samples for architects. The pavilion was impactful, sustainable, budget-conscious, and a statement merging storytelling, material innovation, and responsibility.

The Jury‘s Statement

The expressive staging of natural references and material identity makes »Found on Elemental Core« particularly impressive. The abstracted mountain forms add depth to the presentation, while the suspended laminate panels develop a striking narrative quality. Sustainability, flexibility, and an elegant, resource-conscious execution combine to create a powerful exhibition that sets standards for conceptual clarity and responsible design within its field.
