The Large Special Exhibition “Collections” presents natural history collections with a new dramaturgy: expansive table pedestals break up traditional systems of organization and create unexpected object constellations. The structured tour is divided into a prologue, main section and participatory epilogue. The reduced design language in combination with an expressive graphic appearance characterise the exhibition experience. “Collections” combines scientific depth, curatorial innovation, multisensory and inclusive communication.

The consistent reduction of the design language lends »Versammelt« an impressive clarity and creates space for emotional encounters with natural history objects. Expansive table podiums and a striking graphic concept enable surprising perspectives and encourage participatory experiences. The harmonious combination of scientific depth, inclusive communication and curatorial creativity is particularly convincing – an outstanding achievement that fully justifies this Gold status.
