MIA – Der KI-Avatar der Deutschen Telekom

MIA is Deutsche Telekom's AI avatar: a life-size digital human that listens and responds in real time so naturally that a contact becomes an encounter – multilingual, no app, no chat window. Created within Sales & Service, developed together with i22 for Telekom's shops. The design achievement lies in the interplay: i22 orchestrates language model (LLM serving via AI Foundation Services, T Cloud), voice and UneeQ's avatar rendering into a character with its own personality and a consistent brand voice. Following the MVP, T-Systems runs operations, rollout and internationalisation. Premiere: MWC 2026, live in Dortmund.
