Transformation of the ICE fleet’s digital systems toward one service customer experience

SBICE (Service Bundling @ICE) is the transformation of the ICE fleet’s infotainment system toward a single digital point of contact on the train for the customer. The new brand image and understanding of DB was digitized, a profound understanding of SBICE was created and the portal systems of DB Fernverkehr had been shaped for the next digitization stage. SBICE now combines all digital services that are of essential importance for the customer’s journey such as comfort check-in, at-seat order (Bestellen am Platz – BaP), travel information and the entertainment system in one platform.
