The deer Campus Calw makes the case for sustainability rooted in the existing building. Designed over 20 years ago by SCHMELZLE+PARTNER as a workshop, its flexible layout enabled a transformation into an agile workplace – with minimal intervention, conserved resources, and preserved embodied energy. Raw concrete meets warm materials, open zones meet quiet retreats. The project shows how extending a building's life unites ecological responsibility, economic efficiency, and architectural quality.
