Little East Frankfurt

Little East shows how much potential sits inside an existing building. Without touching facade, structure or building services, and on a very small budget, a 2014 apartment house was rethought: 276 units of 19 to 25 m², bright colours, zoned floor plans, fitted kitchens with storage, a Living Lobby and a roof terrace above Frankfurt's Ostend. All components robust, durable and made in Germany. Result: occupancy above 95 percent, average stay doubled from six to twelve months within one year.
