Marktkauf grubendorfer in Dortmund:
Themed “Simply Dortmund”, the market design shows modernity with tradition from Dortmund. Design elements are reminiscent of industrial history from the Ruhr district. Ceiling elements in the cash register and wine area were presented in a rust look. As a tribute to the mining tradition, pithead buildings were suspended from the ceiling in the fruit and vegetable area. Graffiti images were attached to the walls and design elements by Dortmund artists.
