Nº 4 CAKE STAND Collection

Nº 4 CAKE STAND Collection is a family of three functional design objects featuring round-shaped Shongololo millipede legs. The Collection is a limited edition of 30 pieces per size and is available in a variety of wood types and food-safe oil finishes. The pieces are inspired by Nicolene van der Walt’s memories of farm life in South Africa — an ode to the Shongololo, she commemorates the emergence of these majestic millipedes from the dry earth following spectacular summer thunderstorms.
