Details
The sans serif Uhura Nova font family has 5 weights (thin, light, regular, medium and bold) and combines humanistic and geometric influences. It is soberly constructed and optimized for readability. Special features are the dynamically ending curves, especially in the uniquely designed numbers, as well as the eszett, which is also available in caps and its design as an ſz ligature is reminiscent of Berlin street signs.
The Jury‘s Statement
The "Uhura Nova" typeface family has a characteristic feature that makes it very special and unusual, thanks to the dynamically spreading arches. A pleasantly clear, legible and above all modern and lively font that stands out from the crowd.
