Details

DS737 is a font family based on the official Danish signage typeface, originally released in 1954 by Dansk Standard as ‘Danish Standard no. 737’. The designer behind DS737 is unknown, and till now, DS737 had only existed in one cut and a very limited character set – now digitised and expanded into a fully fledged, highly functional family, supporting all the open type features we've come to expect of contemporary typefaces. DS737 consists of 18 styles across three widths – 54 styles in total.

The Jury‘s Statement

Through consistent modernisation, the Danish signage font, which dates back to 1954, has been brought up to a contemporary level and thus meets the requirements of a modern world.
