Details
With the garden show, a contemporary park was created that is characterized by a high diversity of design and use. In the course of this, permanent structures and elements were created that set positive impulses for the quality of life, the social environment and the urban climate. In addition to a continuous green park strip, the long-awaited access to the water was realized. Extensive renaturation measures have restored the lost relationship between the water bodies and their floodplains.
The Jury‘s Statement
As part of the park design for the Eppingen horticultural show, extensive renaturation measures were also carried out on the floodplain landscape, which was thus made experiencable again and invites visitors to linger. A multifaceted overall project that contributes greatly to increasing the quality of life in the city.
