Covering an area of 25.7 hectares, the Shajing Avenue Area is the largest historic area in Shenzhen, completely reflecting the 2500 years of development in Shenzhen. Through a chronological slice-and-dice approach to conservation, we are revitalizing it as a museum on the move, building an iterative and symbiotic new city of ancient ruins together with the Shajing Street area.

The huge historical area in Shenzhen forms an exciting contrast to the surrounding modern urban structures. It is fascinating to see how 2,500 years of history are not only preserved here, but can be experienced in a living way.
