Details

Women lack visibility. This has also been the case in the history of graphic design - right up to the present day. With UN/SEEN, we want to close a gap in the German-speaking world and focus on women in graphic design between 1865 and 1919. By combing through archives, creating or adding to Wikipedia articles and organizing a symposium with contemporary female typographers, we are creating this visibility and discussing the demands for more equality of a new generation of female designers. The website also serves as a platform for process-based documentation, networking and an online archive. Reload!
