ROLL TABLE SYSTEM

Details
The object consists of a top with cylindrical edges that engage at the ends on two opposite sides, like 'scrolls', within whose central scaling the supporting trestles slide. The transverse profile of the top, supported by a pair of trestles, in its design suggests a paper scroll on one side, and on the other evokes a classical volute of a Greek capital. The form allows, in its 'two-dimensionality', to create a functional interlocking between one module and the other, by means of centred pins placed in the centre of the cylindrical bases: by grafting the tops together in this way, a theoretically 'infinite' table is formed.
