COX table

The COX-table is the core model of our first dynamic flatpack knockdown design system, the COX system. The system is a result of material studies exploring large scale FFF Additive manufacturing using a 6mm nozzle in search of inherent preferences with the ambition to voice the technology’s aesthetical and structural language. Through our findings, the COX table manifests through two base parts interlocking with a central “snap joint” utilizing the materials' inherent tension. The assembly system is completed without additions within seconds and has become the foundation of our later flatpack knockdown systems: DRAFT, AMGEN and PACER.
