The Cascais sofa system redefines the concept of modular sofas by expanding on standard transformation possibilities. Not only can it be arranged into different configurations for various occasions, it can also transform vertically through the addition of supports, backrests, cushions, headrests, and a choice of different leg heights. For example, the configuration with a spacious 3.4m² seating area can be packed in only 1.5m³ of space. Starting as a classic corner set with washable and exchangeable covers, the sofa can be transformed into a three-seater with two armchairs, twin beds, and even a double bed.
