Lammeh

Details
Lammeh is a contract furniture concept rooted in sustainability, born from textile waste discarded in landfills. Commissioned by GIZ in Jordan, the project addresses the massive 30 tons of fabric waste produced daily by fast fashion brands manufacturing in Jordan. As production grows, this figure could rise to 200 tons. Instead of viewing this waste as a burden, Lammeh sees it as a resource, transforming it into demand-driven furniture to promote circular economy, create jobs, and add value. Inspired by the Arabic majlis, it symbolizes gathering and social connection while showcasing conscious design and environmental responsibility.
