"Data Bugs - AI is a Mirror" by Dotdotdot explores our responsibility in providing unbiased data and training AI equitably. The installation makes the working of neural networks tangible. Set in a world of insects, it presents two AI models trained on different datasets (one biased and one diverse) that visitors can interact with and thus see - live - how data shapes AI outputs: the biased dataset creates stereotypical images, while the diverse one generates varied, alien-like insects. The project highlights AI transparency, bias, and how data quality affects results, making complex tech accessible to all.
