The striking extension of the traditional organic farm conveys pure alpine „joie de vivre“. The pure mountain air, a breathtaking idyll make your stay a very special experience. The existing building was expanded to include a farm shop and two cosy chalets. hoi°architektur has set itself the task of building bridges between regional tradition and modern lifestyle. Great importance was placed on incorporating nature and the characteristic rural environment. The clear architectural language and reduced materiality express the simplicity and sense of tradition that is still lived and practiced in these mountain regions.

The subtle integration into the alpine landscape is impressive. »Bergerie Piqué« succeeds in creating a powerful interplay between regional heritage and contemporary aspiration through clear architectural language and restrained materiality. Especially compelling is the respectful fusion of rural authenticity with modern quality of stay. The project demonstrates in an outstanding way how publicly accessible architecture can be realized in a relevant, identity-building, and enduring manner.
