The new school building should appear to belong to the main building: Materiality, closed inner courtyards that open outwards and internal building lines are taken from the existing building. The new building can be accessed directly from Sürther Strasse and via the large foyer of the main building, under the library bridge. Arrivals are guided via a large forecourt with a central meeting point into a foyer with a generous airspace.
