The project is a major supporting complex for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics in the Zhangjiakou competition zone, comprising the International Convention Center, the Winter Center, the Exhibition Center, hotels, and the Loong Street Skywalk. Guided by the principles of “Respect for Nature, Chinese Style, and International Standards,” it establishes a distinctive architectural cluster rooted in the mountainous character of northern China. Designed to serve both the Olympics and post-Games functions, the complex provides integrated services that contribute to positioning Chongli as a world-class destination for ice and snow tourism.

The subtle integration into the North Chinese mountain landscape gives the »Convention, Exhibition and Hotel Complex of Taizicheng Snow Town« an exceptionally harmonious presence. Distinctive roofscapes, local materials and elegant transitions between interior and exterior create a powerfully aesthetic and emotionally connecting architecture. The ensemble impresses with its sustainable functionality and charismatic identity—a remarkable example of public architecture at the highest level.
