Details
Osaka is Japan's second biggest city. Its central station, Osaka Station has been in operation for 150 years. The redevelopment has brought a big turning point to this Station, and it was reborn as a new Osaka. We designed a new building as “the Gateway to the new Osaka”, connecting the historic station's facilities with a huge new natural park. This ultra-thin skyscraper is designed with various materials and lighting to create an architecture that reflects and harmonizes its surroundings.

A charismatic fusion of historical identity and contemporary urban culture defines »INOGATE OSAKA«. The striking silhouette and subtly orchestrated lighting effects compellingly reflect both city and nature. Especially impressive is the assured use of sustainable materials and the powerful spatial presence, which reinterprets public space and emphatically demonstrates »Gold«-level excellence.
