Details
The Bâtiment de Recherche Biomédicale at Université Paris-Est Créteil is a 5,765 m² facility by Nickl & Partner France, linking academic innovation & clinical practice. Its trapezoidal form breaks from linear campus blocks while bridges connect to Health Sciences & Henri-Mondor Hospital. A glazed axis & atrium organize labs & offices, fostering daylight, wayfinding & exchange among 170 researchers. Public glazing, organic columns, L1–L3 labs, PolluRisk hall, seminar spaces & a herb garden support transparency. Hosting six research fields, the BRB unites science, teaching & public service in resilient, flexible architecture.
