Details
Our design for the Nikon Global Headquarters on a former company factory site is a showcase for the brand’s light. The light-beam-inspired facade facilitates solar shading and natural lighting for comfortable offices, while a multipurpose core—the “Communication Frame”—fosters employee interaction and new discoveries. The Communication Frame integrates relaxation areas, staircases, and other spaces into a porous, daylight-rich environment. Interior details capture the shifting plays of light, while product motifs and reclaimed materials add depth. The result is a panoply of light experiences within a passive design suited to Japan’s climate.
