Details
Homes have long evolved by containing the things and functions needed for life. Today, city services can be used only when needed. This house leaves dining, exercise and social life to the city, turning the home from a "container for possessions" into "an open space connected to the city." Its space adapts to changing needs. It echoes Japanese living, where an empty tatami room became a dining room with a table, a bedroom with a futon, or a guest room with cushions. In Japan, empty space is valued not as absence, but for silence and infinite possibilities. Linking this idea with minimal living, the house proposes freedom through owning less.
