Details
This apartment was built on the basis of a house builder's standardized apartment and has a facade with the identity of Kamakura. We designed handmade copper screens placed in the intermediate areas, which were created by reorganizing the shapes of the architectural function. The architecture joins the polyrhythms of Kamakura, a city with 1,000 years of history, where both old and new buildings line the streets.

Thoughtful reconfiguration of standardized residential structures creates distinctive transitional spaces that subtly connect tradition and the present.
