Details
A historic house dating back to 1380 in Nonntal was renovated and repurposed by private investors in order to preserve its cultural heritage. Instead of a student residence, high-quality apartments were created. Structural measures included lowering the entrance area and removing a false ceiling, creating a functional foyer. A custom-made steel corset stabilizes the roof and exterior walls and serves as a design element. The attic was converted into two maisonette apartments and a new elevator was integrated. Restored stucco and gothic wall paintings demonstrate master craftsmanship.
