Details
The basic idea of this project results from the natural conditions and the intention to react sensitively to the environment and nature. The single-storey wooden frame house was erected on a solid base and is placed in the existing slope structure, which remains almost unchanged. The facade is made with pre-fired wooden slats, which have been given a long-lasting carbon layer through a previous process. Thanks to a strict grid in advance, no waste was necessary in the facade. The floor plan takes into account different views of nature in all directions.
The Jury‘s Statement
The new single-family home captivates with its harmonious integration into nature. The use of pre-charred wooden slats creates a durable facade that seamlessly blends into the surroundings. The thoughtful design of the floor plan offers diverse views of the natural environment, emphasizing the connection between interior and exterior.
