ENZOEUSEBI+PARTNERS firm office conceived this factory as a sustainable building, realized below ground to optimize the relationship with the surroundings landscape. Realized by Promo Spa, The C-shaped underground structure is covered by a green roof which follows the natural slope of the land. The building focuses on sustainability, highlighted by energy and water efficiency, intelligent use of materials, innovation and environmental quality.
The Jury‘s Statement
To minimize the visual impact on the surrounding natural landscape, the building, which is also sustainably operated, was lowered into the ground to match the topography and the roof surfaces were greened. Mirrored facades and walls reflect the surroundings and channel daylight into the rooms in an extremely atmospheric way.
