Details
TThe kindergarten with gymnasium is situated in the extension of the existing school. The elongated new building is integrated into the situation in such a way that a generous outdoor space with a central school square is created. The entrance to the gymnasium is located in the new square. The kindergarten above the gymnasium is connected to the top floor of the primary school: in the basement, the cloakrooms of the new gymnasium are connected to the entrance floor of the primary school.
The Jury‘s Statement
The combination of kindergarten and double gymnasium in a building directly adjacent to the school saves space and shortens walking distances. In terms of external perception, the windows with their strikingly protruding reveals are particularly eye-catching, which is further enhanced by the contrasting color. An interesting project that was implemented with aplomb.
