During the first meeting, the client talked about a "luxurious farmer’s house." He desired a non-artificial, pleasant, and eco-friendly house. To capture the valley and forest into the house, a long horizontal mass with a large window and a garden was placed to the south. An architectural device was needed to integrate various sizes and shapes of mass into one volume. The curved roof that resembles nature was the key idea here.

The roof structure, which looks like a gentle wave, spans the elongated structure and, together with the vividly angled architecture and the cladding in wood, ensures that the residential building integrates perfectly into the beautiful landscape.
