Details
The building is located in a field, surrounded by mountains. How to harmoniously place this 100,000-square-foot building in the natural environment has become the starting point of design. The buildings are cut into long strip shaped buildings that align with the veins of the fields and covered with sloping roofs for staggered assembly. The sloping roofs are combined to form a well-arranged "tiled roof hill" which integrates with the surrounding real mountains.
The Jury‘s Statement
The way in which the Yu Village Tourist Service Center with its strikingly offset roof structure interprets the topography of the surrounding mountain landscape was achieved at a high design level. A very convincing work down to the last detail, through which the building fits very nicely into the landscape.
