<p>DZ BANK is the central institution of the German Cooperative Financial Network. Our task was to develop a holistic sound identity for DZ BANK, uniting the brand’s cooperative tradition with its modern visionary outlook. The sonic identity was inspired by nature’s largest cooperations - bird murmurations - which embody a vast number of individuals forming patterns across the sky, while moving towards a shared future vision. The flocking bird patterns were imitated by music composition choices. This leading creative idea inspired a set of sound assets, which in its entirety make up a coherent sound identity that makes the power of the cooperative tangible.</p>

<p>The sound branding for DZ BANK skilfully combines cooperative values with a modern sound image. The acoustic identity translates the strength of the community into an audible form and reflects the dynamism and co-operation expressed in the concept of the flocks of birds.</p>
