Light(car)House redefines a rural parking facility as civic infrastructure and public atmosphere. A perforated aluminium double skin with diagonal fins brings daylight, ventilation and passive safety while softening edges. By day the façade blends into the horizon; by night it becomes a low‑energy beacon. A lightweight reversible frame—bolted assemblies, recyclable aluminium skins, reused steel and FSC timber—embodies circular sourcing. Transplanted landscaping restores ecology and grounds the building in a rural setting. With minimal means it turns a utilitarian typology into an inclusive, low‑impact model for small towns, simple to operate.
