CLOUD OCEAN • SKY ARK

Perched atop Moon Mountain in Baibei Miao Village, this homestay overlooks a year-round sea of clouds. Conceived as the world’s first “Cloud Ocean–Sky Ark,” it transforms architecture into an immersive vessel. Mirrored retaining walls form an auspicious cloud motif that visually lifts the homestay into the sky. Rooted in the heritage of Baibei, the design integrates local materials, craftsmanship, and modern comfort. A series of boat-shaped terraces and decks create a joyful celestial harbor.
