Details
Project KOCKA (sugar cube) transforms the spiritual values and mysticism of a place into the material form of a 2x2x2m cube. The idea for KOCKA was inspired by the Bosnian ritual of dipping a sugar cube in coffee. The minimalist design symbolizes the simplicity of life and emphasizes that the most precious moments are those that are filled with genuine pleasures. With KOCKA, the ritual of drinking coffee - to go - is quality in the moment and a bridge between past and present. KOCKA is designed with the highest sustainability standards and a zero environmental footprint.
The Jury‘s Statement
The modern kiosk/coffee shop concept ‘KOCKA’ combines modern, minimalist aesthetics with sustainability. Inspired by cultural rituals, the kiosk combines tradition with a modern lifestyle and offers a meeting place that is both ecologically and aesthetically pleasing.
