Garbage Monster Alarm! is a wonderful children’s exhibition on the important-but-not-so appetizing topic of waste. In order to make this grubby theme more attractive, we designed the whole show with illustrations, so that it feels like a giant pop-up book. On top of that, we introduced the Garbage Monsters, both funny and scary characters that each represent a specific aspect of the waste issue, and have to be hunted throughout the exhibition. Garbage doesn’t get more entertaining than this!
The Jury‘s Statement
In the child-friendly exhibition of funny monsters and colorful buildings, children learn in a playful way why garbage is not just garbage and how important recycling is. An endearingly original exhibition idea that ensures lots of fun for the target group and certainly doesn't fail to achieve its learning objective. Good as a monster!
