Details

The cross-media campaign "Women in Politics" uses vivid data visualization to show how the proportion of women in parliaments in 193 countries has developed since 1950. A scrollytelling website enables interactive exploration of the extensive data set – continents and countries can be compared with each other. A teaser animation draws attention to the project on social media. A printed leporello shows the ranking of all countries, and a poster enables a comparison of the proportion of women in the large and small chambers of parliament. The T-shirt transfers the visualization into the real world. Data source: Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Programming: Katja Vock.
