ICE dining service – digital based menu guest service for travellers – menu, order and serve @ICE

The goal was to develop a modern and esthetic design that provides the customer with the best possible service availability. The solution: at-seat order – Bestellen am Platz (BaP). BaP is available on most of the ICE fleet’s trains and it grants the customer access to the food and drinks menu so one can order easily with a smart device or laptop. What is special about BaP is that it provides two different user experiences, one for customers and one for the train staff. It is supposed to make the staff’s work as efficient as possible since they have to deal with their day-to-day-business.
