Details
The new office of Bahners & Schmitz GmbH covers around 940 square metres and extends over three floors, including roof terraces and loggias. The project was completed in May 2024. The original “Mäschig-Hof,” as the square courtyard in Düsseldorf-Heerdt is called, was built in 1833 and has undergone a complete refurbishment. From the very beginning, the main objective was to develop a sustainable building that integrates harmoniously into the existing urban landscape.

Historical substance meets a sustainably reimagined spatial structure: »Mäschig-Hof« fuses authentic materials with clear, charismatic interior architecture, creating a powerfully harmonious workspace. Carefully orchestrated lighting and the sensitive treatment of original elements result in an impressive atmosphere. Especially noteworthy is the consistent integration of ecological solutions, which, at this distinguished level, sets benchmarks for future-proof, identity-forming work environments.
