This project began from the belief that a home should reflect its owner’s character. The client, a self-made entrepreneur with a calm yet resilient spirit, loves bonsai—an art of balance and discipline.
We sought to express his philosophy through spatial composition and materials. A mountain-inspired ceiling runs through the house, connecting all areas along a symbolic axis. Stone, tile, and textured finishes convey strength and stability, while restrained forms and a muted palette evoke the quiet harmony and enduring vitality found in bonsai.
