The 400 m² penthouse in Frankfurt’s Westend combines the historic fabric of a listed Wilhelminian-era building with a distinctly contemporary interior. Holzrausch created a calm, light-filled sequence of spaces in which warm timber, brushed stainless steel, terrazzo and precisely integrated lighting form a tactile yet refined material palette. Bespoke joinery, the sculptural staircase and the striking kitchen block define a cohesive interior conceived as a backdrop for art, everyday life and the roof garden above the city.
