Details
Moniteurs developed a new passenger information concept for the Steintor railway station in Hanover. The aim was to improve orientation, speed up transfers and harmonise digital services with static signage. The routing was optimised along the flow of passengers and a new, friendly design language was introduced. Large signposts, clearly structured plans and a uniform appearance enable a positive, efficient user experience - above and below ground, digital and analogue.

The consistently clear and charismatic design defines »Next Station« and creates an identity-shaping guidance system. Large, elegantly structured wayfinding elements harmoniously connect digital and analogue information. The new design language appears friendly and memorable. Especially impressive is the consistent focus on user flow, guiding users intuitively and efficiently through the space. An outstanding example of effective, contemporary information communication.
