The new building of the district office in Waiblingen is part of the overall real estate concept of the Rems-Murr district and provides around 180 workplaces for the regulatory, immigration, and health departments, as well as areas for customer traffic. Two head buildings with tent roofs and long buildings placed in between close the inner-city gap in the residential, mixed-use, and commercial area. The building incorporates forward-looking open space offices and a three-zone security concept to separate visitors and employees. Sustainable materials and flexible office designs are key components of the new work environment.
