De Groene Afslag – Militärschule wird Brutstätte / Military school becomes a breeding ground

<p>‘Groene Afslag’ has transformed a former listed Dutch military school into a circular icon. For the transformation of the interior and exterior, materials and products were reused according to the Kintsugi principle – components from different sources are converted into a new context. An unconventional transformation process in which we externally harvested what was available, internally reused what was possible and newly acquired only where necessary. The redesign transforms the former military school into a breeding ground where the circular economy mindset can be experienced, touched and seen at all levels.</p>
