With the third comprehensive school in Hamm-Herringen, a modern learning environment for around 1,000 students was created, paving the way to the general university entrance qualification. The project was realized during ongoing school operations, amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the start of the Russia-Ukraine war. The new campus combines historic structures with modern buildings grouped around a central square. It stands for contemporary school architecture, urban sensitivity, and educational innovation. Bright, homely, and functional spaces define the learning environment.
