The new Pediatric Hospital, located within Ashgabat’s International Healthcare Center, embodies healing architecture that reduces stress and fosters dignity by linking children with nature, play, and intuitive spaces. Spanning 34,900 m², it includes age-specific play zones, consultation and diagnostic units, imaging, physiotherapy, emergency, a 16-bed intensive care unit, advanced laboratories, and 5 operating theatres. Designed as a human-centred environment for patients, staff, and families, it balances comfort with carefully planned functional and operational needs to become Turkmenistan’s leading pediatric centre.

A consistently human-centered spatial concept defines the »International Pediatric Center«, creating an environment that offers children both security and orientation. Nature integration, differentiated play areas, and functional clarity blend harmoniously into a coherent whole. The project stands out for its charismatic balance of emotional quality and outstanding functionality—an impressive example of enduring architecture in the public realm.
