Details
The project in the dense fabric of Brixen’s old town revitalizes a courtyard and makes it publicly accessible. New axes connect it with alleys, squares, and gardens. Careful interventions – removing extensions and opening passages – created spaces of dialogue between old and new, open to the city. With seating steps and a fountain, the courtyard becomes a meeting place for concerts, readings, and leisure. The new building makes efficient use of space, articulated in low volumes and a taller body that sets a slender accent. Green roofs provide views and privacy. The bar opens to the city, bringing together locals and visitors.
